EssilorLuxottica is entering an important phase in the evolution of its workplaces, facilities and services in France.

Reporting to the Construction Director France, the Head of Facilities, Maintenance & Workplace Experience will lead the Maintenance, Facilities and Logistics organization, with approximately 15 employees, while working closely with the Construction and Project Management teams. The role combines operational leadership, technical expertise, maintenance, safety, people development and transformation, with a strong contribution to the evolution of our workplaces and services.

A first priority will be to strengthen and professionalize the organization we have today. The successful candidate will assess our different sites, teams, processes, technical practices and operating models, identify risks and opportunities, and establish pragmatic standards, procedures and governance. This requires a hands-on and pragmatic leader, able to understand operational realities and work closely with teams to turn identified issues into concrete and sustainable improvements. An important part of the mission will be to support, reassure and develop teams, encouraging accountability, learning and continuous improvement while raising standards of safety, reliability and efficiency. The role will also be an important operational partner to Construction and Project Management. The successful candidate will contribute to projects in France by bringing Facilities and Maintenance expertise from the early stages of design through to delivery and handover.

This means anticipating operational, maintenance, safety and service requirements, identifying potential issues early, challenging solutions when appropriate and ensuring that the relevant operational teams are involved throughout the project and change process. The role will work closely with the Construction Director France and, where relevant, the Construction Director Europe, as well as with project teams and other stakeholders, while retaining full responsibility for the Facilities and Maintenance perspective in France. In parallel, the role will help build the Workplace Experience organization of tomorrow. As EssilorLuxottica develops newer, more technological and more sophisticated workplaces, Facilities will progressively evolve towards a more integrated and professional service model, combining internal expertise with appropriately outsourced services.

The scope will increasingly extend beyond traditional facilities management to include hospitality, high-quality catering, workplace services, logistics, employee experience and support for complex corporate events.
