Senior Technical Curriculum Developer - Security (EMEA)Join to apply for the Senior Technical Curriculum Developer - Security (EMEA) role at Datadog1 day ago Be among the first 25 applicantsAs a Senior Technical Curriculum Developer, you will join our Customer Education & Training team to help us deliver exceptional cloud engineering content to our customers, including the Datadog Learning Center, workshops, and certification exams. Working closely with our engineering, product, and customer success teams, you will work hands‑on with the software, devops, and security technologies that Datadog monitors. You have strong security, software development, and instructional expertise to create new self‑paced and instructor‑led training for our customers. We operate as a hybrid workplace to ensure our Datadogs can create a work‑life harmony that best fits them.What You’ll DoCollaborate with our engineering and product teams to produce engaging high quality training courses and content for Datadog’s customer and partner curriculumsCollaborate with stakeholders to evaluate customer training requirements, and turn those requirements into a roadmap with clearly scoped courses that have well defined learning pathsCommunicate with customers to understand their technical needs in order to build courses that help them become proficient in using Datadog productsCreate high quality hands‑on labs that can be delivered both as self paced online programs or instructor‑led trainingReview demo code and courses created by other curriculum developers. Coach them to improve the technical and instructional quality of their work in line with their manager’s quarterly milestones.Coach experts around the company to deliver live workshops at Datadog eventsWrite application and infrastructure code to enhance existing learning project applications so that customers can learn to use Datadog security featuresHelp create and maintain the technical systems and environments used in hands‑on labs (GitHub Actions, disk image build workflows, installation scripts, and others)Who You AreYou are a technical practitioner with experience in security, software development, devops, technical curriculum development, or related experience in creating educational material for an engineering and developer audienceYou have hands‑on experience, specialist knowledge, or other experience in building learning content in cloud infrastructure, full‑stack web development, mobile development, and/or microservicesYou are able to transform dry technical topics into engaging, informative and interesting educational materialsYou are proficient in using services on AWS or other cloud providers that integrate with Datadog security products, such as cloud storage, logging, and access management policiesYou are familiar with at least one Infrastructure as Code tool such as Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, Pulumi, or similarYou are comfortable using Docker or KubernetesYou are familiar with one or more security standards such as OWASP, certified ethical hacker, CNCF Security Certification, AWS Certified Security Specialty, Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer, HashiCorp Vault certification, or otherDatadog values people from all walks of life.
