Join to apply for the Backup Engineer Analyst role at AXA Group Operations5 days ago Be among the first 25 applicantsJoin to apply for the Backup Engineer Analyst role at AXA Group OperationsMain missionsThe candidate will join an existing technical team and his role will require:To be fully responsible for Backup platformsPart of the project team (as an expert) for future backup solutionInstallation, upgrades, maintenance of the platformsProduction monitoring and resolution of technical incidentsBackup monitoring and reporting in direct relation with Manage ServicesAnalyze and prepare accurate documentation for production.Incident, Problem and Change Management support, in an enterprise environment, providing 3rd level supportImprovement and extension of operational system stability and performanceCreation and improvement of operational guidelines, implementation guidelines and work instructions and necessary documentationImplementation of Standard Work Requests (based on AXA-Services standards, using ServiceNow)Troubleshooting incidents in the scope of the technical areasDevelop scripts for automation and batches, in close collaboration with development teams.Creating scripts according to internal AXA standards and procedures.Ability to support and monitor services on production servers.Technical writing of the proper documentation according to internal regulationsEnsure security is priority one: audit, vulnerabilities remediation,Ensure service levels meet requirements. Propose and implement action plan when required.Work with Project team to prepare project scope and troubleshooting of backup jobs on platforms (Oracle, SQL Server, Windows)Expected Skills & ExperienceWe are looking for someone with the following experience and skills:ExperienceMinimum 3 years of experience in backup environmentTechnical SkillsCloud knowledge: Security, Networking, AWS, AzureCommvault solutionsIBM Spectrum Protect V8 or later expertScripting skills and automation.Strong general knowledge in IT and Datacenter infrastructureKnowledge in Windows / Linux / VMwareSoft Skills / Transversal SkillsAutonomous, teamwork spirit and “self-organized working”, respectful of the process.Curiosity, assertiveness, pro-active mindset.Customer centric and result orientation.Ability to work in dynamic, matrix-structured global organizations.Upper intermediate level of written and spoken English is a must.French or Dutch speaking would be appreciated.Respond promptly to incidents, investigate & provide temporary &/or permanent resolution of incidents escalated.
