Global Manufacturing & Supply

Join a high-impact transformation project where you will design and deploy end-to-end automated intralogistics solutions and subsequently ensure their long-term sustainability by becoming the site's SAP EWM reference for automated intralogistics operations.

Your New Role:

Initially, you will join the project team responsible for designing, integrating, and deploying the site's automated intralogistics solutions. Following implementation, you will transition into a business expert and local ARSU role, ensuring the daily performance, continuous improvement, and compliance of SAP EWM and automated intralogistics systems. This dual position offers a unique opportunity to contribute throughout the entire lifecycle, from solution design to operational excellence.

Your daily responsibilities will include:

  • Participating in functional design workshops (Business Blueprint), defining SAP EWM processes, MES interfaces, and logistics automation solutions while ensuring alignment with the global template, site requirements, and operational needs.
  • Coordinating system integration by acting as the interface between the Intralogistics Project Team, central SAP EWM teams, IT teams, business users, and suppliers, facilitating communication, alignment, and decision-making.
  • Supporting testing activities (SIT and UAT), validation, and go-live readiness by coordinating stakeholders, investigating issues, and ensuring the quality and compliance of associated documentation.
  • Ensuring consistency between physical material flows and transactions recorded in SAP EWM, SAP ERP, MES systems, and automated equipment while maintaining compliance with Novo Nordisk standards, GxP requirements, and data integrity principles.
  • Acting as the local ARSU for automated intralogistics (IL) solutions, serving as the site's primary point of contact for SAP EWM and automated logistics processes, liaising with global governance bodies, supporting users and Super Users, participating in cross-functional ARSU networks, and collaborating closely with the site's existing ARSU organization. You will also be part of the ARSU Forum to ensure alignment of practices and knowledge sharing.
  • Developing and maintaining dashboards and performance indicators related to SAP EWM and automated systems, analyzing operational data to identify improvement opportunities, and conducting root cause analyses for automated intralogistics solutions.
  • Creating, maintaining, and continuously improving operating procedures, user guides, and training materials for automated intralogistics solutions, while administering the site's SAP EWM SharePoint environment.

Your New Department:

Within Global Manufacturing & Supply, we cover the entire value chain, from the development of medicines and devices to the delivery of finished products marketed by Novo Nordisk. We are more than 30,000 employees worldwide with a shared responsibility to develop molecules, processes, devices, and products at scale, delivering life-changing medicines to patients who need them most.

The FFEx (Finished Fill & Expansion) Intralogistics team is at the heart of Chartres site's logistics transformation. Dedicated to automating and optimizing intralogistics flows as part of a major expansion project, the team designs and deploys SAP EWM solutions integrated with MES systems and automated equipment. You will join a committed team where your technical expertise and coordination capabilities will directly contribute to the performance and reliability of site logistics operations.

Qualifications:

We are looking for a professional with a passion for logistics automation and integrated systems, who thrives in both project environments and day-to-day operational support.

You bring:

  • A Master's degree (Engineering or equivalent) in Logistics, Intralogistics, Manufacturing, Automation, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience with SAP EWM or a similar Warehouse Management System (WMS), logistics automation, MES system integration, or industrial systems, ideally gained within a regulated GxP pharmaceutical or industrial environment.
  • Solid knowledge of ERP/MES/automation system integration principles, automation technologies (AS/RS warehouses, conveyors, automated storage systems), and experience leading SIT/UAT testing and deployment activities. <
