Credit Manager and Collections Team Leader

As a Credit Manager and Collections Team Leader you will lead the team responsible for the ledger of customers relating to all business units. You will manage a team of Credit managers and Collection: 4 direct people, 20 indirect. You will report to the Director of Credit, EMEA. This job requires Hybrid Model - 3 days at the office. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership: Resource planning, performance reviews, training, and coverage during peak periods. Credit Strategy: Manage legal processes, minimize risk, and enforce bad debt policy. Collections Oversight: Proactive chasing, query resolution, and strong business partnerships. Forecasting & Reporting: Month-end performance, overdue analysis, and action plans. Process Excellence: Lead reviews, audits, and improvement initiatives aligned with EMEA policy. Risk Management: Credit decisions per approval matrix; manage legal accounts and insurance claims. Shared Services Integration: Drive usage and transitions for credit back office, AR, and cash application. Qualifications Diplom: Master Degree in Finance or related fields or equivalent. Min 8+ years experience in Finance or credit management roles, including at least 5+ years in team lead roles. Experience working in cross-cultural teams and managing processes in international environments, ideally in Retail/Distribution sector would be appreciated. Strong technical experience in local legislation, credits, collections, Ability to prioritize and solution oriented. Abilities to communicate efficiently, attention to detail, and customer service mindset. Advanced Excel and MS Office skills. Fluency in French and English proficiency are mandatory. Willingness to travel around 20% (Saint Jean de La Ruelle, occasionally abroad in Rubi, or Brno).
