Location: Nivelles, Belgium or Paris, France.As a Project Controller you will be responsible for cost monitoring and controlling within defined standards and consistent practices. You will work closely with project teams on the compilation, assessment and documentation of project costs and associated cost monitoring and reporting required at various stages of the projects. You must have advanced skills in communication, cross-cultural awareness, and leadership. You will report to the Lead Project Control and will be based in our offices located in Nivelles, Belgium or Paris, France.Key ResponsibilitiesInitiate and plan all cost controls aspects of a project, including project baselines and risk registers. Apply tools and techniques to plan work such that inefficiencies are reduced and overall project performance is optimized. Apply cost or risk analytics to confirm validity of plan.Support creation from project to collection phase, responsible for cost monitoring, tracking and cost control work.Ensure project compliance and provide proactive support for audit sessions.Support forecast estimation, enter forecasts for predictability and verify the accuracy of actual to date costs (material, labor, manufactured costs, suppliers\' invoices, timesheets, travel expenses).Align with scheduler to ensure costs and schedule are aligned, providing time-phased cost forecasts.Analyze and interpret costs to identify trends in cost forecasts. Support the project team by attending meetings and collaborating with others.Present all financial data (Direct Gross Margin, Backlog, KPIs, Earned Value Metrics) in a transparent way, attend project and management reviews to present cost status (Cost Reports), budget deviations and root causes.QualificationsMaster\'s degree. Applicable disciplines are Project Management, Engineering, Business, Finance or related technical discipline. Fluent in French and English.5–10 years of project cost controls experience in the Energy industry on projects with revenue > 10M$.Some experience in other project controls areas such as scheduling, risk management, contract management, change control would be beneficial.Knowledge of project reporting, cost control and engineering controls; previous experience working with different business systems and tools (i.e., SAP, Business Intelligence, MSP and Excel).Why Westinghouse?We know that to put forth your best effort, you need to be challenged and enjoy what you do in a supportive and respectful environment.
