Financial Analyst Intern, Global Selling Finance

Amazon Global Selling is responsible for recruiting third‑party sellers and helping them grow their business. Amazon Global Selling Finance is seeking a Financial Analyst Intern to work on FP&A process and business partnership. The role reports to a finance manager, is based in Shanghai, China, and supports day‑to‑day financial reporting, planning, operating plans and quarterly guidance, month‑end close, and other related activities. Key Job Responsibilities Assist with financial planning and analysis for Global Selling business, including data collection for monthly/quarterly reviews and supporting forecast preparations. Collaborate with team members on financial modeling, metrics tracking, and cross‑functional projects to gain insights into business performance. Learn and contribute to various business initiatives through data analysis, report creation, and other projects as assigned by the manager. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree, or Master’s degree in BI, finance, engineering, statistics, computer science, mathematics, finance or equivalent quantitative field. Proficient in advanced Excel usage, including Lookup, PivotTables, Conditional Formatting, etc. Experience in using Excel Dynamic Array Functions, Power Query, VBA, etc. will be preferred. Proficient in English writing, speaking, and reading skills. CET 6 passed. Self‑driven, with can‑do attitude and curiosity to learn. Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize workload in a fast‑paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in mass data handling with Python, SQL, etc. Have work/intern experience in Finance or related field.
