Head of New Business Unit - CDI - Paris papernest is a rapidly growing tech company that simplifies contract management for millions of customers across France, Spain, and Italy. With over 900 employees in three locations, we aim to create innovative solutions and lead the market in Europe. Join us to turn a modest revenue stream into a multi‑million‑euro business unit, owning the P&L, roadmap, and operating system. Core Responsibilities Scale the business from thousands to multi‑million revenues within a year, meeting clear milestones and KPIs. Design and run the operating machine (Sales, Quality, Legal, HR, Product, Data) with tight cadences, dashboards, SLAs, routing rules, and execution timelines. Create a long‑term strategic roadmap for the BU and share it with the COO, founders, and stakeholders. Own the end‑to‑end P&L: pricing, costs, staffing plans, margin structure, and performance versus plan. De‑risk and accelerate: anticipate bottlenecks, run rapid experiments, and ship continuous improvements. Make key decisions: staff internally vs. BPOs, automate processes with AI solutions, and aim for high impact. Qualifications & Skills 5+ years of managing initiatives where failure was possible and impact was measurable. Fluent in French and English. Experience scaling an initiative from low revenue to meaningful P&L impact. Strong cross‑team stakeholder orchestration and ability to move projects at speed. Framework thinking: decompose problems into crisp models. Operational excellence: run cadences, staff teams, debug processes, and deliver under time pressure. Analytical proficiency: use data to decide and focus. Mindset Extreme ownership: never outsource responsibility. Bias to action: always move to the next concrete step. Resilience: keep going after setbacks and failures. Unification: energize and unite teams to move faster and cleaner.
