We are looking for a backend development for one of our customer who has an expertise in:-
Project context
Goals and deliverables
We are looking for technical expertise that can secure the quality, performance, and scalability of our backend Node.js services, with a significant level of experience corresponding to approximately five years of practice on similar environments.
- Design and develop robust, maintainable, and documented backend services Node.js 22+.
- Implement secure, high-performance, and HTTP best practice-compliant JSON REST APIs.
- Structure architectures with NestJS, Express, Fastify or Koa according to functional and technical constraints.
- Define and maintain an automated testing strategy with Jest, Mocha, Chai, Sinon, Istanbul/NYC and, if necessary, Cucumber/Gherkin.
- Document and test entry points with Swagger, Postman, or curl.
- Implement or enhance Git/GitLab workflows, NPM tools, and runtime processes with Nodemon and PM2.
- Contribute to the containerization of environments with Docker and Docker Compose.
- Design or optimize persistence mechanisms with MariaDB/MySQL, MongoDB, Redis, Prisma, or TypeORM.
- Evaluate and integrate, where relevant, ElasticSearch, Worker Threads, WebSockets, SSE Streams, and Pub/Sub architectures.
- Facilitate collaboration with the Web, Mobile, Product, Design and Ops teams, in particular through clear documentation in Markdown or Confluence.
- Participate in Agile rituals, share knowledge and popularize technical choices to non-technical stakeholders.
- To provide on-call or support interventions in the evenings and at weekends when operational imperatives require it.
