1 week ago Be among the first 25 applicantsThis is a fantastic opportunity to join one of most exciting game studios, using leading technology to create new genre-defining games, within our collaborative Action RPG team, on Project Fading Echo.New Tales is currently looking for a highly motivated and talented Senior Game Designer (F/M) to join our adventure at NEW TALES.What is the job about?In order to support the current design team, you will take ownership of the progression of a 10-hour game with RPG elements at ALPHA stage, and drive improvements up until the release of the game.That is great but what does it mean for the day to day?Onboard a project in alpha stageBalance, tweak and define progression for player perks and enemiesPolish the game experience on multiple design topics based on player feedbackRequirementsWhat are we looking for?6+ years' experience in game developmentExcellent understanding of systemic gameplayWillingness to turn a great game into a game of the yearWhat do you need to succeed?Be a true team player, able to build relationships to establish trust and respectUnderstanding that iteration makes qualityDemonstrated autonomy and responsibilityExperience with UnrealAbility to be available, patient, benevolent and inclusiveExtra: Technical background (personal or educational)Extra: Experience as a player, and/or a previous role on Action RPGBenefitsContract: freelance full-time, 6 monthsPlease note: all our positions are require on-site attendanceOffice : Lyon (La part dieu station)Recruitment ProcessReview of your applicationInterview with the hiring manager (in person, where possible)Technical test (if applicable)Interview with other teams members (in person, where possible)Seniority LevelMid-Senior levelEmployment TypeFull-timeJob FunctionDesignIndustryIT Services and IT ConsultingReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at New Tales by 2x #J-18808-Ljbffr
