AGS has the experience, technology and commitment to bring change to an industry with increasing pressure on carbon footprint and valorization of residual wastes.Alliance Green Services is looking for a Site Manager located in Fos-sur-Mer reporting directly to AGS Group CEO.THE ROLEThe Site Manager is responsible for overseeing daily business activities, improving overall business functions, training heads of departments, managing budgets, developing strategic plans, creating policies, and communicating business goals.Although not limited to, the scope of the main responsibilities of the Site Manager will be:Main ScopeOversee the site QHSE management system and strongly contribute to the zero-accident policy of the AGS GroupRunning day-to-day operations and guiding general business strategyBudget execution and meeting contractual KPIsTracking cash flow and setting goals for their teamDeveloping key performance goals and managing the performance of staffCreating and implementing strategies for business growthCreate, deploy, and supervise company proceduresStaff oversight (hiring, training, retention, motivation, dismissal, taking disciplinary actions whenever needed)Strong skills in people managementWell-versed in dealing with unions and managing difficult situations and conflictEnsuring that the team delivers a high-quality service to the Customer(s)Developing new solutions to meet Customers’ needsImproving internal processes for better productivityOverseeing large projects and interpreting performance reportsManaging the budget and monitoring the financial health of the site(s) within his perimeter of responsibilityKnowledge and ExperienceThe Site Manager is expected to show the following knowledge and competencies:Business management degree or relevant equivalent experience in the same field or similarGood knowledge of different business functions.Strong leadership qualities.Strategic thinkingStrong negotiation and interpersonal skills (communication, connecting people, persuasion)Ability to connect with stakeholders at all levelsResult orientedHighly organized.Strong work ethic.Good interpersonal skills.Meticulous attention to detail.Proactive nature.A strategic, analytical mind, natural curiosityA proven safety-first approach and experience with key safety approachesBusiness fluency in French and English, any other language being considered as a valuable plusAbout UsArcelorMittal is the world's leading steel and mining company, with a presence in 60 countries and primary steelmaking facilities in 15 countries.
