Group Workplace Safety Control Expert Location: Paris 75, FR CMA CGM Group, a global leader in shipping and logistics, is present in 160 countries with more than 400 offices and 750 warehouses. Through the CMA CGM Foundation, the Group supports humanitarian crises with emergency responses leveraging its shipping and logistics expertise. As an HSE Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as overseeing the implementation of CMA CGM Group standards in these areas. This position is based in Paris. YOUR ROLE As an HSE Expert, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations, as well as overseeing the implementation of CMA CGM Group standards in these areas. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO? Regulatory Monitoring and Risk Prevention Ensure compliance with current health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Implement risk prevention measures and ensure proper follow-up. Organization of Drills and Exercises Plan and coordinate drills and exercises in collaboration with all departments and management. Train and raise awareness among teams on HSE best practices. Contractor Management Supervise contractors working with the HSE Department, such as security agents, inspection bodies, and external auditors. Assess contractor performance and propose corrective actions when necessary. Reporting and Analysis Provide regular reporting (weekly, monthly, and annual) on HSE activities and key performance indicators within your scope. Identify areas for improvement and propose action plans. WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR? Skills and Experience Significant experience in the field of safety and risk prevention. Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental (HSE) regulations. Autonomy and a strong ability to take initiative. Foresight and responsiveness when faced with unexpected situations. Sharp analytical skills and exemplary rigor in carrying out your duties. Ability to work effectively in a team and collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders.
