Environmental Technician II
The Environmental Technician II identifies, implements, and maintains systematic processes to manage critical compliance data.
Essential duties
- Identifying, implementing, and maintaining systematic processes to manage critical compliance data.
- Collaborating with other functions to develop and maintain user friendly systems for information gathering/sharing.
- Managing data gathering, compliance related recordkeeping, data quality assurance, auditing and other field compliance verification activities.
- Conducting field work such as visible emissions observations and leak detection surveys, confirming equipment identification and location, and participating in other field environmental activities such as release observations/oversight in developing experience.
- Providing technical/functional and/or administrative support.
- Performing routine tasks.
- Solving problems and making basic decisions.
- Supporting AES zero-incident safety culture and assuming personal accountability and responsibility for safe work practices in all projects, activities, and operations.
- Other duties will be assigned to this position as needed.
Required experience
- 3+ years of related work experience.
- General working knowledge of environmental systems, terminology and procedures used within the department.

Working on the North Slope of Alaska, your lodging and food will be provided.
