We are continuously growing and we are looking for a Data Architect to join our UniQue team.What will you be doing in this role?Lead the end-to-end architectural design of a new Data Warehouse from concept to implementation.Analyze business and technical requirements to propose optimal data architecture solutions.Create and maintain data warehouse schemas and data models (conceptual, logical, and physical).Design, plan, and oversee proof of concept (PoC) to validate architectural decisions, technology choices, and data warehouse design approaches.Integrate data from multiple source systems and design reliable data pipelines.Ensure data quality, consistency, security, scalability, and performance.Contribute to future-state data architecture and platform roadmaps.Apply and promote industry best practices in data architecture and data platform design.Act as a subject-matter expert and provide senior advisory support to stakeholders.Collaborate closely with data engineers, analysts, and business teams throughout delivery.Ensure alignment between architecture, implementation, and operations.Document architecture decisions, data models, standards, and best practices.Stay informed on emerging technologies and assess their applicability to the data strategy.What do you need to succeed in this position?Master’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of experience in data architecture or similar data-focused roles.Strong expertise in data warehouse design and data modeling.Demonstrated deep expertise in ETL/ELT processes, and data pipeline development.Hands-on experience with Airbyte, dbt labs, or comparable open-source data tools.Strong SQL skills.Previous experience working with container orchestration platforms such as Kubernetes and/or Red Hat OpenShift.Experience with cloud data warehouse platforms.Proven experience integrating data from multiple systemsli>Experience with architecture modeling tools and methodologies (e.g. Sparx Enterprise Architect, ArchiMate, TOGAF).Strong understanding of data governance, GDPR, security, and compliance requirements.Excellent analytical, documentation, and communication skills.Advanced English (C1) communication skills (written and spoken).At Uni Systems, we are providing equal employment opportunities and banning any form of discrimination on grounds of gender, religion, race, color, nationality, disability, social class, political beliefs, age, marital status, sexual orientation or any other characteristics.
