Why we need you Your mission will be to build, maintain, and optimise the software components that power our WebHosting services, delivering a stable, scalable, and reliable experience to all users. Your Team We are a collaborative, international team of three people focused on maintaining and evolving the shared hosting platform (databases, mail, FTP, backups, etc.). From performance tuning to incident handling, you’ll help keep the infrastructure running smoothly. Your Daily Routine Maintain and evolve our shared hosting infrastructure (mail, web, DB) Ensure high availability and minimise downtime Develop internal tools to enhance platform stability and performance Handle production issues and resolve alerts rapidly Monitor systems and identify areas of improvement Improve deployment pipelines and CI/CD practices Contribute to containerisation efforts (Docker and related tech) Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to deliver robust features Write and maintain documentation Participate in on‑call rotation Hard Skills Strong knowledge of Bash scripting and one or more of: Go, Python, Perl, PHP Experience with Apache, Nginx, HaProxy, php‑fpm Production experience with Docker or container technologies Good grasp of networking fundamentals Familiarity with PostgreSQL and MySQL Proficient with Git, GitLab, and CI/CD tools Knowledge of Ansible and RabbitMQ Solid Linux system administration experience English fluency Soft Skills Strong team player with a collaborative mindset Ability to learn and adapt quickly Problem‑solving and analytical thinking Initiative and ownership in infrastructure improvement Customer‑centric thinking What you will find at Scaleway Hybrid work: up to 3 days of remote work per week Spacious offices with dynamic workspaces, outdoor terraces, and bike parking Chef‑provided healthy meals at headquarters and breakfast across all sites; Swile card for lunches at regional sites Well‑being commitments: gym access, daycare places, discounted services for caring duties International environment: English widely spoken alongside French Career & Mobility: internal mobility and opportunities within the Iliad Group Next Steps Discovery call with a recruiter (30 min) Technical discussion to understand your skills and approach (45 min) Technical deep‑dive to validate your expertise (1 h) Team interview to assess fit and culture alignment (45 min) Final on‑site visit to meet future colleagues and discover our offices Equal Opportunity Statement At Scaleway, we are committed to building an inclusive and respectful workplace where everyone has a fair opportunity to thrive.
