🔎 Who we are Kyutai is a non‑profit lab dedicated to open research in Artificial Intelligence. Our team is laser‑focused on few, high‑impact projects in frontier AI. Led by world‑class scientists, Kyutai conducts cutting‑edge research on multimodal, adaptable and compact models. Less than 2 years after its start, Kyutai has delivered several ground‑breaking models: Moshi, the first full‑duplex voice AI allowing natural spoken dialogue with latency under 200 ms and no imposed speaker turns; Helium‑1, a very compact and powerful multi‑lingual open language model; Hibiki, the first voice‑to‑voice simultaneous translation model that preserves voice and can run on a mobile; MoshiVis, the first visual‑speech model to allow natural spoken dialogue around visual content; Unmute, a voice AI that empowers any text LLM with voice, instantly, by wrapping it with Kyutai's streaming speech‑to‑text and text‑to‑speech.
