International Accountant

OverviewWe are seeking for our new International Accountant whose main responsibility will be to produce the accounts of one of our foreign subsidiaries while also being involved in a variety of assignments within the finance and accounting field. The position is based at our headquarters in Paris La Défense.ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Accounting Director of the Paris Shared Service Center your main responsibilities will include :Managing general accountingEnsuring account reconciliations and monitoring accounting entriesHandling monthly tax declarations or surveys (VAT DES etc.)Preparing monthly and annual closingsPreparing the consolidation packagePreparing the tax package in collaboration with a local accounting firm in the relevant countryProviding back-up support on other accounting cyclesResponding to queries from internal and external auditorsEnsuring compliance with internal procedures and applicable standardsQualificationsProfile :You hold at least a Bachelors 4 degree in Accounting and have a minimum of 5 years experience in an international environment. You are proficient in English as well as IT tools such as Microsoft Office.Required qualities :You enjoy communicating and are motivated to join a dynamic company.
