What You’ll Do Own and scale Lago’s infrastructure to ensure reliability, performance, and security. Design and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines. Optimize databases (PostgreSQL, Clickhouse) for high availability and performance. Improve monitoring and observability, ensuring proactive detection and resolution of issues. Enhance security practices, from IAM policies to data protection strategies. Collaborate with engineers to improve deployment processes and DevOps best practices. What We’re Looking For Strong experience in infrastructure engineering, DevOps, or SRE roles: 5+ years. Expertise in Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud environments (AWS / GCP). Experience managing and scaling PostgreSQL in production. Proficiency in Ruby or Go (or willingness to learn). Passion for open‑source and infrastructure‑as‑code principles. Ability to work autonomously in a fast‑moving startup environment. Bonus Points ✅ Experience with open‑source projects or developer tools. ✅ Strong background in security and compliance for cloud applications. ✅ Prior experience in billing, or fintech infrastructure.
