Motul is recruiting an External Communication Manager.MOTUL is an international French company founded in 1853, specialising in high‑performance lubricants for engines and industry, operating in over 160 countries.ResponsibilitiesDevelop corporate narrativesProduce reference messaging and corporate supports to present the company to exterior publics (speeches, presentations, videos, articles).Manage the corporate websiteDevelop content highlighting the company's positioning, strategy and values (articles, videos, pictures) and keep it up to date.Publish regularly on the News section.Pilot regular metrics analysis.Implement corrective actions/evolutions in coordination with the technical team, contributors and agencies.Curate the corporate LinkedIn accountsBuild and implement an editorial framework for LinkedIn to highlight Motul’s strategy and successes, aligned with brand narrative.Create relevant content adapted to the target and format.Publish regularly on the Motul LinkedIn account.Support the agency for community management of the corporate LinkedIn account.Help top managers amplify corporate news on their LinkedIn account.Media relationsSupport spokesperson with messaging, Q&A, statements.Prepare press materials: releases, kits, photos, videos.Distribute press materials to targeted journalists.Respond to media inquiries.Accompany spokespersons in speeches.Organise press events.Monitor press coverage (monthly, after each announcement) and conduct media monitoring to identify risks and opportunities.Crisis communicationSupport preparation of holding statements, Q&As and key messages for sensitive or urgent situations.Support monitoring and post‑crisis analysis.Manage Heritage collection and related communicationManage the Motul collection: inventory, digitalisation, retail process.Showcase Motul’s heritage collection in exhibitions, fairs, museums.Craft messages to promote Motul’s legacy and link it to the company’s current life.Budget & organisationPilot external agencies and manage related budgets: brief, coordination of workstream, monitoring to guarantee correct implementation of projects and actions.Performance monitoring & KPIsDefine and track key performance indicators for external communication activities.Provide regular reporting and insights to continuously improve communication effectiveness.ProfilStrong technical skills in copywriting, with clear, impactful written and verbal communication.Proven experience in public relations, content creation, programme and project planning and management, as well as supplier management.Demonstrates effective leadership through an action‑driven mindset, trustworthiness, proactive initiative, active listening and the ability to foster collective intelligence within teams.Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in communication or marketing, supported by over ten years of professional experience in the communications field, including media relations.Bilingual profile with native‑level proficiency in French (C2) and advanced fluency in English (C1).Strong IT proficiency, including advanced use of the Microsoft Office Suite and professional LinkedIn account management.Recruitment ProcessStep 1: Discovery call with Clément (Talent Acquisition) – 30 minutes.Step 2: Technical meeting with manager Raluca – 1 hour.Step 3: Meeting at our offices with Andreea (N+2) – 1 hour.Hybrid (partial) working arrangement. #J-18808-Ljbffr
