  • Design, develop, and maintain scalable and robust test automation frameworks (API, integration, end-to-end).
  • Develop automated test scripts using modern programming languages and frameworks.
  • Validate microservices architectures, REST APIs, and event-driven systems.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI/CD) to ensure continuous quality.
  • Collaborate closely with developers to promote shift-left testing practices.
  • Perform root cause analysis of defects and ensure proper resolution.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring best practices in both development and test automation.
  • Define and improve test strategies, test plans, and quality metrics.
  • Contribute to performance, reliability, and security testing initiatives.
  • Mentor junior QA engineers and promote a strong quality-driven culture within the team.
  • Ensure proper documentation of automation frameworks and test cases.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Experience / Skills

  • Strong experience in test automation with a developer mindset (Java, Kotlin).
  • Expertise in test automation frameworks (e.g., Karate, Selenium, Cypress, RestAssured,).
  • Solid knowledge of API testing and RESTful services.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (GitLab CI/CD) and DevOps practices.
  • Good understanding of microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of databases (SQL and/or NoSQL).
  • Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, Gatling) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
