Your mission: Architect and build the core platform from patent to product Deliver MVP and first customer proof-of-concepts Build and lead the founding engineering team Establish technical processes, standards, and engineering culture Lead technical strategy through seed funding and beyond Represent QUANTHRONEX to investors, partners, and customers Required Qualifications: Core Technical Competencies: Domain Expertise: Strong foundation in grid optimization, power flow analysis, or energy system modeling. Optimization Methods: Proficiency in constrained optimization, numerical methods, and solver implementation. Software Engineering: Proficient in Python (NumPy, SciPy) with the ability to architect production-grade systems. Real-time Systems: Experience with low-latency, high-reliability system design. Required Background (One of the Following): PhD (completed or in the final year) in Power Systems Engineering, Applied Mathematics, Electrical Engineering, or Operations Research. Research involving optimization, grid modeling, or energy systems. Strong publication record or demonstrated technical depth. MSc in a relevant field + 3-5 years in R&D or product engineering at a European TSO, DSO, or grid technology company. Hands‑on experience building optimization or grid management systems. Proven track record of delivering production software. Preferred (Not Required): Familiarity with European grid codes and standards. Experience with flexibility or balancing markets. Exposure to battery storage optimization. Knowledge of the French energy market.
