Discover Genetec's work environment and lively culture in this video 🔎 What your day will look like Contract Negotiation & Drafting: Handle a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts, lease agreements, and supplier arrangements. Employment Law: Advise and support the Human Resources team on employment contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution. Dispute Management: Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and other dispute matters. Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure Genetec and its subsidiaries meet legal and regulatory requirements in Canada and internationally. Strategic Legal Advice: Provide practical, business-oriented legal guidance across departments. 🌟 Who You Are Flexible & Driven: You're energized by variety and eager to dive into new legal areas. Business‑Savvy: You understand how legal decisions impact business strategy. Collaborative: You enjoy working with cross‑functional teams and building strong relationships. Qualifications Member in good standing with the French Bar Minimum 7 years of experience in business/commercial law and/or employment law. Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities. Even better if you have these assets Experience with software and cloud technologies. Familiarity with international legal frameworks and corporate governance. A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation.
