If you're a versatile legal professional who enjoys touching on different areas of law, thrives on solving complex problems, and wants to make a meaningful impact across departments, we want to hear from you. 🔎 What your day will look like As Senior Legal Counsel, you’ll work across multiple legal domains, including: Contract Negotiation & Drafting: Handle a variety of agreements, including commercial contracts, lease agreements, and supplier arrangements. Employment Law: Advise and support the Human Resources team on employment contracts, workplace policies, and dispute resolution. Dispute Management: Coordinate with external counsel on litigation and other dispute matters. Corporate Governance & Compliance: Ensure Genetec and its subsidiaries meet legal and regulatory requirements in Canada and internationally. Strategic Legal Advice: Provide practical, business‑oriented legal guidance across departments. 🌟 Who You Are *We invite you to apply even if you happen to not meet every requirement. Qualifications Member in good standing with the French Bar Minimum 7 years of experience in business/commercial law and/or employment law. Bilingual proficiency in French and English (spoken and written). Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities 💎 Even better if you have these assets Experience with software and cloud technologies. Familiarity with international legal frameworks and corporate governance. A proactive mindset and a passion for innovation.
