This position seeks a motivated engineer to develop and automate test strategies for mobile and embedded software, supporting the validation of our algorithmic solutions. Mission You will bring technical expertise in software development to innovate validation processes, improving the performance of signal processing and AI algorithms for motion, audio, and ultrasonic sensors. You will work across domains such as smartphones, IoT, drones, robotics, wearables, earbuds, and smart glasses. Interaction with Teams Frequent interactions with the extended team based in San Jose, California Frequent interactions with cross‑functional teams (algorithm, platform, software tools) Occasional interactions with field application and marketing teams Main Job Responsibilities Define test criteria, acquisition protocols, data collection, and database acquisition using sensors Design and develop validation tools to automatically generate performance reports Develop metrics to measure the quality of signal‑processing algorithms Integrate reference test equipment to evaluate metrics and automate usage Design validation strategies and create manual and automated test campaigns for embedded platforms Execute and supervise test plans for TDK‑InvenSense software products Provide accurate test reports with improvement recommendations to teams in France and the United States Identify opportunities to simplify and reduce validation effort through automation Represent the validation team in project activities (estimation, planning, tracking, defect management, deliverables) Essential Skills and Experience Engineering degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field 2+ years of experience as a Test & Validation Engineer Strong programming skills in Python (minimum 2 years) Good understanding of object‑oriented programming and software layers from embedded architecture to application Knowledge of signal processing in motion, audio, and/or imaging domains Strong problem‑solving and requirement writing skills Ability to work independently and as a proactive team member Detail‑oriented, driven by targets and deadlines Fluent in English and French; excellent verbal and written communication Desirable Skills and Experience Experience with MATLAB Programming experience in Java/Android, iOS, or scripting languages (Batch, Shell) Familiarity with version control tools (Git, SVN) Experience with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins Additional assets considered for this position Seniority Level Associate Employment Type Full‑time Job Function Engineering and Research Industries Semiconductor Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at TDK InvenSense by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
