We are looking for a motivated and talented Software QA Manager to join our global team. Mission and Opportunity Joining the ARDC Grenoble Team, your management leadership and your technical expertise in systems validation, your dedication to quality and sense of detail will help identify and suggest areas of improvements for our products, as well as propose and develop innovative solutions to enhance test coverage and automation of our projects. Your proven track record in hands‑on management, your wide knowledge of the specifics of sensors, software environments and your experience in Software QA are your strengths for proposing and developing new validation techniques and help us face those upcoming challenges. You will closely interact with our developments teams to propose and design the validation strategies of our systems. You will also be involved in enhancement techniques, including best practices for testing and verification of our software architecture. In Grenoble, we are a group of 60 people working as a team for 15 years in SW R&D around sensor modalities. We are born and inserted in the Grenoble Hi Tech ecosystem and collaborating daily with the TDK‑ARDC San Jose California SW team, contributing to elaborate products for the biggest hi‑tech companies and markets. Our SW R&D Team is growing across Grenoble and San Jose, and the team in Grenoble is currently counting 18 engineers, of which 6 work in SQA team. As the SQA team is a central part of the development process, collaboration between algorithm team, machine learning team, integration team, validation team and HW team is key for understanding the system. Therefore, your ability to demonstrate excellent communication skills is critical as you interact with managers and engineers from other teams (system, algorithm, embedded software development, and marketing), partners, and suppliers. Primary Job Responsibilities Drive the global validation strategies and organization for the Experimentation and SQA team Manage a team in charge of the validation of our solutions: sensors data collection, algorithm characterization, system validation, benchmarks against competitors, sensors and systems experimentation and characterization Lead lab experimentations to characterize our system & find issues Lead the development of new and/or improved validation techniques, procedures and methodologies Design and enhance validation strategies, meet schedules and/or resolve complex validation problems and investigations Guide and train resources in charge of developing, testing and executing automated tests as well as debugging and testing tools that will introduce efficiency and effective testing Propose agile solutions in line with our market/customers Manage multiple projects and initiatives effectively by being the main interface between the team and the projects managers and top management Essential Skills and Experience MS in computer Science or Similar Previous managerial experience directly managing people and/or experience leading teams, projects, programs or directing the allocation of resources Strong technical skills on embedded systems Strong technical communication and interpersonal relationship skills Strong leadership skills and decision‑making abilities Experience with systems and software validation/development Able to adapt to changing business needs and operational requirements Proven ability to complete technical projects on time with high quality Excellent English communication, and ability to work in an international, multicultural environment Reporting & Interactions Direct report to the Grenoble SW R&D team director Lead role and manager for the Software QA team in the organization Daily interaction with the different projects managers to define priorities and compromises Daily interaction with cross‑functional teams (Ai & Sensor Fusion algorithm, Software) Weekly interaction with executive team based in California Seniority level Mid‑Senior level Employment type Full‑time Job function Engineering and Research Industries Semiconductor Manufacturing Referrals increase your chances of interviewing at TDK InvenSense by 2x. #J-18808-Ljbffr
