Job TitleManager, Asset Operations – Sub Team Planner LocationLondon (UK) or Paris (FR) DivisionAsset Operations Team, within Global Portfolio Operations (GPO) Manager's Job TitleHead of Asset Operations SummaryThe Manager, Asset Operations – Sub Team Planner (STP) serves as the main operational support point to Asset Sub Teams, acting as the strategic planning anchor, ensures execution alignment with asset strategy, and drives integrated sub team plans with precision and transparency. Responsibilities Work with Sub Team Lead and function representatives to create and maintain an operational roadmap derived from overall asset strategy. Create an environment that fosters personal investment and excellence. Facilitate the evaluation of alternative options to deliver sub team objectives. Manage the Integrated Sub Team Plan: develop, refine, and update monthly to reflect progress, risks, and scope changes. Establish milestone mapping, scenario planning, and assumption validation processes. Drive planning discipline across the sub team, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and resources are clearly defined and tracked. Champion planning tools and methodologies for accurate reporting, forecasting, and performance tracking. Facilitate planning workshops and alignment sessions with cross-functional stakeholders. Align the sub team plan with the global integrated asset plan through collaboration with Sub Team Lead and Asset Operations Lead. Maintain the Sub Team Assumptions slide and ensure integration into risk, budget, and valuation. Define critical path and decision criteria for sub team deliverables. Monitor execution, measure results, and communicate deviations to Sub Team Lead and AOL focusing on deliverables, milestones, budget, and resource constraints. Serve as central operational point of contact for team members and Sub Team Lead. Ensure decisions are tracked in due time and functions deliver with precise execution. Comply with all laws, regulations and IPSEN policies, including QMS for GxPs and regulatory requirements. Qualifications & Experience 1-3 years experience in Pharmaceutical/Biotech industry with understanding of drug development, clinical development, and project management. Expertise in planning tools, planning methodologies, and cross-functional coordination. Experience leading operations in cross-functional teams. Strong problem solving, proactivity, and leadership skills with emotional intelligence. Excellent written and verbal communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management. Financial acumen to understand and manage program budgets. Experience facilitating project meetings, cross-functional communication, and decision-making. Ability to prioritize, multitask, and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. Strong customer and patient focus. Competencies Stakeholder Management – engage functional teams and internal stakeholders for smooth execution. Planning – knowledge of planning tools and methodology; capacity to develop and maintain project plans. Technology & Data Management – intermediate use of corporate project management tools. Leadership & Mentorship – support project teams and coordination. Risk & Issue Management – identify and mitigate operational risks; support corrective action plans. Budget & Cost Control – monitor costs within approved financial framework. Communication & Negotiation – communicate with sub team and convey updates. Cross-Functional Team Leadership – coordinate sub team members across functions. Data Management & Analytics – collect and organize project data. Change Management & Process Improvement – adapt to changes and follow processes. KPI & Performance Tracking – track milestones, timelines, and quality metrics. Strategic Thinking & Innovation – implement existing strategies efficiently. Reporting – prepare regular project status reports. Regulatory & Compliance Knowledge – basic understanding of GxP, FDA/EMA/ICH guidelines, and clinical trial regulations.
