The preferred location for the position is Surgères, France.What you will be doingAs Field Service Engineer your work will focus on these responsibilities:Supervise a team of technicians and perform preventive maintenance and repair operations on Wärtsilä emergency diesel engines installed in nuclear power plants.Act under the responsibility of a superintendent and embody the superintendent’s authority during their absence.Participate in troubleshooting.Perform engine running tests.Fill in the quality documentation (dossier de réalisation de travaux).Participate in the promotion of the Wärtsilä brand.The missions are carried out in accordance with Quality, Safety and Environment rules and Wärtsilä’s commitments.You will shine in this role when you haveTo be successful in this role, we expect you to have:Bachelor + 2 or other high school diplomaIntermediate level of written and spoken EnglishDeep knowledge of diesel engine mechanics (knowledge of Wärtsilä engines is an advantage)5 years of experience in the industrial Marine or Energy sector (knowledge of nuclear sector is an advantage)Precision and rigour, attention to Safety and Quality topicsEndurance, Flexibility, AutonomyTeam spirit and good interpersonal skillsStrong focus on process improvementAttentiveness to customer satisfactionMobility (multi-week delegations)In this role some travel is required to meet with our customers around the world. travel approximately 80% (France + Abroad).---------------------------------Poste françaisNous recrutons un Superviseur d\'interventions extérieures H/F sur notre site de Surgères, France.
