This role focuses on overseeing the breakfast and brunch service, ensuring an exceptional guest experience that reflects the hotel’s heritage and commitment to quality. Overview ORSO, the dynamic hotel brand with 7 Parisian locations, thrives on creating unique experiences. The hotel’s mission is to “AIMER FAIRE PLAISIR” – welcome guests with warmth, care, and personal attention, while caring for colleagues, the environment, and community. The restaurant venues include: MAGGIE (restaurant & rooftop), CITRONS & HUITRES (wine bar with seafood specialties), and LE MIKADO DANCING (night club). Responsibilities Guarantee the proper setup and timely restocking of the breakfast buffet. Deliver a warm, cheerful reception to guests and energise team morale. Explain buffet options and services to guests. Allocate tasks, supervise the team from opening to closing, and manage post‑service clean‑up. Track daily guest counts and breakfast billing accuracy. Manage the restaurant cashier and ensure cash handling integrity. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and presentation across all restaurant areas. Ensure correct use and maintenance of buffet equipment, iPads, phones, and related tools. Store, count, and orderly arrange table linen. Coordinate lunch service, including preparation and staff assignment. Oversee events held during duty hours. Follow directions from supervisors and upper management. Perform restocking of refrigerators and storage for the following day. Serve coffee breaks in additional hotel areas (rooms, lounge, MIKADO). Smoothly hand over service to the evening team. Schedule cleaning of communal spaces. Prepare service trays and room service distribution. Polish silverware for breakfast and lunch services. Adopt eco‑friendly practices and respect the environmental charter. Qualifications Minimum two years of similar supervisory experience. Strong ecological sensibility – the hotel is CLEF VERTE‑labelled. Proven teamwork skills. Excellent client‑service communication. English fluency; French language competency encouraged. Ability to coordinate breakfast and lunch teams. Organisational and time‑management proficiency. Proactive and initiative‑driven attitude. Flexibility and adaptability to hotel needs.
