Körber Pharma Software, an industry leading software firm within the pharmaceutical and biotech industry, is offering an outstanding career opportunity for an Accounting and Finance Responsible to join our growing team in France.The French subsidiary is currently internalizing its accounting activities and therefore has created this new position to support the transition.This role offers a significant opportunity to a motivated and enthusiastic candidate looking for a comprehensive role including all aspects of accounting and finance in the context of an international group, as you will be solely responsible for managing the accounting and finance activities.Your role in our teamSetup and further expansion of in-house accounting (takeover of financial service providers) and independent and fully comprehensive processing of all accounting activitiesCarry out careful checks and account assignments in accordance with commercial and tax law aspects to ensure compliancePreparation and submit of VAT returnsRegular reconciliation of accounts and clarification of open itemsReconciliation of settlements between the affiliated Group companiesControl, processing and payment of travel expense reportsPreparation and execution of payment transactions as well as liquidity controlImplementation of receivables managementCoordination and preparation of monthly and annual financial statementsPreparation of annual tax returns for in collaboration with the tax advisorMonthly transfer of local accounting to the German group Reporting according to HGB as well as preparation of all necessary reports; further controlling tasks if necessaryCoordination of tax matters with the local tax advisor and Group TaxCommunication with auditors and tax advisors as well as close coordination with the finance colleagues of the German parent companyYour profileSuccessfully completed commercial training or studies in Business AdministrationSeveral years of professional experience in accounting, preferably within an international group of companiesExcellent knowledge of accounting principles, tax regulations, and travel expense policiesProficient in SAP S / 4HANA and the Microsoft Office suiteExperience in controlling / management accounting is a plusProfessional experience working in an English-speaking environmentStrong sense of personal responsibility with an independent, hands-on working styleStructured, process-oriented, and goal-driven approach with a high level of cost awarenessStrong analytical skills and a meticulous attention to detailFluent in French, both written and spoken is mandatory as well as very good written and spoken EnglishOpportunity for independent and autonomous workChance to actively shape and optimize accounting processesProfessional growth and development within a global corporate environmentReliable support from colleagues at the German parent companyCollaboration within a diverse, international teamApply now and join our teamReady for your next step?
