If you thrive in a dynamic, innovative environment and want to shape the future of sensing technology, InSpek is the place for you WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING We are seeking an Optomechanical Industrialization Engineer to drive the industrialisation of InSpek’s sensing systems. You will work on the design, prototyping, and manufacturing of optical and mechanical assemblies involving our chip‑scale sensors, OEM components, and custom‑made parts. Your work will ensure the mechanical and manufacturing readiness of components, from R&D tools to production‑grade assemblies. Your role will be hands‑on and collaborative, working closely with internal teams and external partners to debug, prototype, and manufacture next‑generation sensing solutions. RESPONSABILITIES Mechanical & optical design : Design and iterate mechanical components and optomechanical assemblies using CAD tools. Identify and resolve technical issues in optomechanical assemblies, from component‑level challenges to system integration. Conduct tests to validate performance, durability, and manufacturability. Optimize designs for cost, scalability, and ease of assembly. Contract manufacturing & Supplier coordination : Identify, qualify, and onboard subcontractors and engineering houses for specialized tasks. Act as the primary technical liaison with CMOs, contractors, and industrialization partners. Define and communicate technical requirements, review proposals, and answer technical queries. Manage procurement, timelines, and technical documentation. Ensure smooth transitions from prototyping to volume production. Quality control : Develop and implement quality control protocols for optical, chemical, and mechanical aspects of our sensors. Perform incoming inspections and validate components / assemblies against specifications. COMPETENCIES / PROFIL MSc + 4 years of experience (or equivalent) in optomechanical engineering or industrial design, industrialization Strong background in mechanical design (CAD, prototyping, testing), including proficiency with CAD tools and mechanical prototyping (e.g. 3D printing) Hands‑on experience with optical systems (fibre optics, alignment, assembly) Experience with quality control, supplier follow‑up and project management Excellent project management skills Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment Fluency in English; French is a plus Biotech knowledge is a plus Good communication skills for interacting with manufacturing partners Nice‑to‑have : Familiarity with bioproduction or pharmaceutical systems Familiarity with ISO standards Knowledge of optoelectronic packaging or microfabrication BENEFITS 💼 Health and life insurance (100%) 🍽️ Meal vouchers 🏃🏼 Gymlib account (access to gyms & sports) 📈 Employee stock options (BSPCE) 🏡 Flexible remote work policy 💥 Growth opportunities with potential for leadership roles 🎉 Regular social events 🌟 Inclusive culture 🚀 Unique opportunity to be an early employee at an innovative startup InSpek’s offices & laboratories are located at DocCity Suresnes , in the western Paris region.
