At PayFit we understand that you can gain applicable skills through a variety of life experiences and we are interested in knowing them, too.Location:Flexible location: Work remotely from anywhere in France or SpainAbout the role:We're looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Lead Management Stack team and lead our web development efforts.You'll be responsible for developing and maintaining our website and landing pages, working closely with Designers and ensuring high performance and responsiveness. As a business partner to the marketing team, you'll implement A/B tests, optimize conversion rates, contribute to CRM enrichment processes, and support marketing campaigns.Your expertise will be crucial in integrating third-party tools, such as analytics platforms, and ensuring seamless data flow between systems. You'll also implement best practices for SEO, conversions tracking, and web standards on the website.As a senior team member, you'll mentor junior engineers and contribute to overall team growth.As an experienced Senior Software Engineer, you will bring a wealth of knowledge and a fresh perspective to our team. Your expertise will be instrumental in:Establishing and improving engineering best practices, promoting a culture of quality and efficiency.Driving innovation and strategic thinking within the team, enhancing our technical capabilities.Delivering robust and scalable solutions that align with business goals and user needs.Possessing excellent problem-solving abilities, taking a proactive approach to challenges, and excelling at mastering tradeoffs in complex situations.Mentoring junior team members and fostering a growth mindset within the team.This role is for you if:You are a Senior Engineer with 6+ years of experience (at least 2 years in a senior role)You're proficient in front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, React) and have experience building and designing APIsYou have experience with CMS platforms, including complex integrations and custom developmentYou have worked on marketing-focused projects, including website optimization and integrationsYou are fluent in EnglishIt would be great if you also:Bring a solid background in CRM integrations, such as Salesforce or HubSpot, and familiarity with platforms like Google, Meta, and LinkedIn.Excel in optimizing website performance, SEO, and enhancing user experience.Possess expertise in API development, following best practices, with hands-on experience in Node.js and backend development.Have experience with advanced analytics tools like Google Analytics or Segment, and Conversion Platforms (Google Ads, Meta, LinkedIn etc.)Are well-versed in the AWS stack (CloudFront, Lambda, SAM), along with DevOps, CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and Git.Demonstrate strong communication skills and can work effectively with marketing teams.Thrive in fast-paced, collaborative environments, preferably in SaaS, and have experience with product-led growth strategies.If you think you would be a good fit even if you don't meet 100% of the requirements, we would love to hear from youYour Future Team:The LMS squad is a dynamic team consisting of 3 Software Engineers, an Engineering Manager (EM), a Growth Manager (GM), and a Product Designer (PD), all working collaboratively on our mission. We're a partially remote team based in France. Your future manager, Jérémy (EM), brings extensive experience in leading complex technical projects and is committed to supporting your growth and development in this role. Together, we build and optimize cutting-edge solutions that directly fuel our company's ambitious growth strategy.Interview process:1. Initial Discovery Call: A Talent Acquisition representative will assess your qualifications and fit for the role - 30 min2. Interview with an Engineering Manager: You will have a conversation with Jérémy, your future manager, to further discuss your experience and skills - 45 min3. The technical interview that comprises of 2 parts:1) Tech Interview: You will be assessed on fundamental knowledge. You will also be asked to showcase one of your work to discuss it with the team - 60 min2) System design Interview: You will participate in a system design interview, focusing on web architecture - 90 min4. Interview with Product and Marketing’s main stakeholders - 45 min5. Interview with Pierre, Engineering Director of the Tribe, to discuss your understanding of our role and challenges and your potential impact in it - 45 minBackground Check (ISO27001 certification): identity, diploma, and past professional experiences will be checked after the offer.What we offer:Flexibility: We believe it is key to produce your best work and to be fulfilled.
