Senior Software Engineer (Python/Django) We are looking for a senior engineer to build and maintain our AI‑driven energy management platform. You'll work with a multidisciplinary team using Python, Django, Celery and AWS in a fully remote environment. What you’ll do Design and implement robust, fault‑tolerant software for smart‑meter data ingestion, billing, and customer information systems. Own domain modelling for the complex French energy market and translate business requirements into clean code. Improve performance and scalability for processing millions of daily meter readings. Collaborate across engineering, UX, copywriting and design teams to deliver continuous product improvements. Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Terraform and Docker, and monitor production with Sentry and CloudWatch. Essential experience and skills Python (7+ years) with Django or an equivalent web framework. Domain modelling, REST APIs, and custom serializers. Celery, asynchronous tasks and background job processing. PostgreSQL, database optimisation and migrations. Fluent in English (B2+) and French. Experience with AWS, Terraform, and containerised deployments. Nice to have Experience with React, Redux and front‑end tooling. Infrastructure as code with Packer/Consul/Terraform.
