You’ll monitor Morpho’s lending activity across 20+ networks, identify high‑value opportunities for the BD team, and maintain the analytics that help the growth org make faster and smarter decisions. Responsibilities Monitor Morpho lending flows across 20+ networks to understand users behaviours and growth patterns Aggregate and prioritise on‑chain signals (positions, flows, liquidations, yields, governance events) to surface clear BD opportunities (wallets, DAOs, protocols, market segments) on a daily basis Prepare daily high‑value signal briefs for BD and the growth team using Morpho’s proprietary growth engineering stack to accelerate deal flow and opportunity qualification Maintain weekly and monthly reports on asset utilisation, asset growth, chain growth, incentive performance, and cohort retention to track protocol health and growth trends Run deep‑Dive analyses on chains, assets, user behaviours, integration impacts, and competitive activity to inform BD strategy, incentive design, and product decisions Partner with growth engineering and data analysts to improve Morpho’s data stack by suggesting new data sources, features, and metrics that improve signal quality Surface emerging DeFi opportunities (new protocols, DAOs, liquidity pockets, novel strategies) and track their outcomes with the BD team What Success Looks Like In your first 30 days Get fluent in Morpho’s DeFi architecture: markets, chains, assets, integrations, and core user profiles Onboard to the growth engineering stack and on‑chain data tools (Allium, Dune, subgraphs, internal infra) Ship your first daily and weekly signal reports with supervision, and contribute to at least five BD opportunity qualifications By Month 4–6 Fully own the daily DeFi signal process: you decide what’s noise versus signal and how to route it Maintain a reliable reporting cadence (daily, weekly, monthly) that the growth and BD teams use in their workflows Deliver 2–3 impactful deep‑Dive analysis (on a chain, vertical, or asset) that directly inform BD strategy, incentive design, or product decisions Partner with growth engineering to iterate on the stack, dashboards, schemas, and alerting based on BD needs By Month 12 Be the go‑to thought partner on “what is happening on‑chain around Morpho and why it matters” Proactively surface new DeFi opportunities and track their outcomes with the BD team Have significantly improved the quality and speed of decision‑making for DeFi growth: fewer blind spots, clearer opportunity funnels, and measurable impact on growth initiatives Job requirements Below are the key competencies, traits, and experience required for this role. Must‑have Experience 3+ years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, strategy, or research roles at fintech or DeFi firms Excellent understanding of DeFi: protocols, liquidity, active players, and largest assets Strong familiarity working with SQL and Python (running and modifying simple scripts) Ability to work with blockchain data tools such as Allium, Dune, and Subgraphs, and more generally on‑chain data architecture Strong business acumen and problem‑solving skills—ability to work from ambiguous problem statements to clear recommendations Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of clearly compiling and presenting analysis findings to clients and internal teams Strong problem‑solving abilities and a genuine passion for DeFi and blockchain technology A team player with the ability to work effectively with clients and internal teams to refine product offerings Perks & Benefits We design benefits around deep work and growth, so you can do the best work of your career.
