**Responsibilities**:
**1. Strategic Research & Analysis**:

- Map and monitor emerging Fintechs, DeFi protocols, On‑chain trends, and regulatory developments to identify high-impact business development opportunities.
- Conduct comprehensive competitor analyses and landscape assessments to inform product strategy and competitive positioning.
- Understand and create financial scenarios to evaluate product-market fit, revenue projections, and risk exposure. (low level of modelization, simple Excel and maths needed)
- Synthesize quantitative and qualitative findings into executive-ready briefs and strategic playbooks.

**2. Partnership Development & Enablement**:

- Identify, prioritize, and cultivate relationships with protocol teams, ecosystem integrators, institutional partners, and key stakeholders.
- Coordinate end-to-end executive engagements: draft agendas, develop briefing decks, and drive follow-up action plans.
- Maintain and optimize internal CRM and tracking systems for partner pipelines, engagement reports, and knowledge repositories.

**3. Cross‑Functional Collaboration**:

- Collaborate with Product, Legal, Compliance, and Engineering teams to translate research insights into product requirements, compliance frameworks, and pilot scopes.
- Lead and facilitate stakeholder working groups to scope proofs-of-concept, pilot programs, and go-to-market activations.

**4. Content Development & Thought Leadership**:

- Craft educational and sales-enablement materials on DeFi topics, including market dynamics analyses, protocol deep-dives, whitepapers, and blog articles.
- Develop high-impact presentations, internal memos, and newsletters that articulate market trends, strategic imperatives, and performance metrics.
- Participate in business trips and on-site meetings to engage with protocol teams, emerging startups, existing clients, and potential partners.

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years experience:

- Business Analyst: Able to map an entire ecosystem (listing of key and emerging actors + segmenting them into specific categories), understanding business correlations between segmented actors, and able to evaluate the financial potential of a segment. This should lead to shaping a strategy of:

- Who should we target?
- What could be the new bets Kiln shall make?
- Detect new opportunities
- DeFi / Crypto:

- Understanding of actors (Protocols, Curators/asset managers, Market Makers, Staking providers, Brokers dealers )
- Knowledgable on how to track data on it’s own (Dune, Etherscan, reports )
- Understanding of Finance (What is a broker dealer, a market maker, an order book, regulation constraints )
- Spoken languages: English (mandatory)
- Perfectly fluent (written and spoken) in English.

**Nice-to-have**:

- Experience working directly with DeFi protocols, asset managers, market makers, staking providers, or institutional crypto players.
- Prior exposure to partnership management and business development in financial services or blockchain ecosystems.
- Experience creating educational or thought-leadership content (whitepapers, blog articles, market reports).
- French proficiency beyond English.
- Hands-on experience collaborating with product, engineering, and compliance teams on pilots or go-to-market initiatives.
