We are currently supporting our client, an international, family-owned FMCG company, in the search for a Director Corporate Controlling - Strategic Commercial Controlling. This position plays a key role in driving international Marketing & Sales–related strategic initiatives and supporting the company’s global expansion strategy.This is an on-site position in Germany, in the greater Cologne/Bonn area.About the RoleIn this position, you will act as a key driver of strategic international projects at the intersection of Finance, Sales, and Marketing. You will work on a broad portfolio of commercial topics, including the development of business plans for new and existing country organizations, pricing and volume growth strategies in a global competitive environment, and ROI analyses of Sales and Marketing investments.You will be part of a commercial organization that supports and enables sustainable, profitable growth across international markets.Your ResponsibilitiesEvaluate business and commercial strategies, identify opportunities and risks at an early stage, derive clear recommendations, and advise the C-level of local country organizations as well as Group ManagementAct as a strategic partner and subject-matter expert for Sales, Marketing, and Global Planning, supporting global, sustainable, and profitable growthContribute your experience in Marketing & Sales Controlling and business planning in the double-digit million-euro range to support strong expansion, including in new markets and regionsPrepare and conduct business reviews with international subsidiaries and support strategic financial planning, including scenario models for top- and bottom-line development at group levelDefine and implement uniform guidelines and benchmarks for evaluating Sales and Marketing investments and their respective ROI to ensure comparability across marketsWork in an international environment within a family-owned company that values long-term perspectives and offers a high degree of responsibility and autonomy, including leadership of a small teamYour ProfileDegree in business administration, ideally with a focus on Strategy, Finance, and ControllingAt least 10 years of professional experience in Marketing & Sales Controlling within an international FMCG environment or a strategic consulting backgroundHolistic experience in developing and building new marketsStrong leadership personality with an entrepreneurial mindset and proven experience as a C-level sparring partner in an international, intercultural contextVery strong numerical and analytical skills combined with confident use of MS Office, especially Excel; experience with BI systems (e.g. SAC) is a plusHigh quality standards for analyses, a hands-on mentality, and a holistic perspective to drive projects efficiently and successfullyFluent English required for international collaboration and business travel; German is a plusAdditional experience in corporate or strategic/operational controlling is an advantage #J-18808-Ljbffr
