Feel inspired in our culture of innovation and creativity, which generates over 1,000 new fastening solutions every year.Role and responsibilitiesResponsible for Development of new products/parts (Metal - Auto components)Understanding the needs of customer & incorporating it in product design.Responsible for customer query handling/technical meeting related to new product design/development.Responsible for monitoring and recoding quality, cost, and delivery time of each new project.Responsible for daily/weekly work planning for the project being handled.Responsible for new product technical feasibility study, DFMEA, Design review, DVP etcResponsible for Project documentation as per QMS & should have knowledge in APQP processResponsible for generating new product ideas/innovative productsRFQ hit rate improvementCAD data ManagementResponsible for regional customer audit.Support customer & visit them (if needed) to resolve technical glitches.Responsible for Design & Development of new products/parts.Knowledge of design & development for Sheet metal clip parts.Knowledge of Raw materials, Spring Steel, Stainless steel, Aluminum & Other grades.Knowledge of Heat Treatment processes and Surface coating.Facilitate for new product feasibility study.Responsible for Project documentation as per QMS.Responsible for generating new product ideas/innovative products.Competitor’s product benchmarking analysis.Responsible for maintaining data for Lesson Learnt.Good analytical skill on problem solving method.Participate in the implementation of internal tests (e.g., load tests)Education and experienceBE Mechanical with 7 to 8 years of experience in Sheetmetal part DesignDiploma Mechanical with more years of experienceKnowledge of Sheet Metal Raw Materials and processes. #J-18808-Ljbffr
