As a Senior Data Engineer, you’ll build the systems that allow risk analysts at top-tier (re)insurance companies to make billion-dollar decisions with confidence. You will be responsible for designing robust data architectures, ensuring data integrity and security, and developing innovative solutions for large-scale data analysis in a cloud-based environment. This is a rare opportunity to build foundational infrastructure in a market hungry for innovation.What You'll DoDesign and maintain scalable data pipelines, enabling seamless ingestion, transformation, and delivery across the platform.Enhance data quality by contributing to continuous optimization and rigorous testing, to ensure our data is clean, trustworthy, and fully leveraged for maximum impact.Collaborate with cross-functional teams — product, back-end, data science, and analytics teams — to support new features, dashboards, and ML integrations.Drive infrastructure improvements, proposing solutions that increase efficiency and future-proof our platform.Tech RequirementsMust have:Expert in Python, PySpark, SQL and AirflowStrong experience working with cloud infrastructure: GCP or AWSDeep knowledge of big data architecturesProven experience managing large-scale data volumes through Iceberg or Delta LakeNice To Have:Great knowledge of containerization with Docker and KubernetesFamiliarity with TerraformExperience in API developmentExperience with dashboarding toolsWhat We OfferWe’re building a company where people can do their best work and be rewarded for it.
