Position Overview

QuidelOrtho is looking for a Salesforce Developer to join our team in Strasbourg and play a key role in evolving our Salesforce ecosystem. This is an opportunity for a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex problems, designing scalable solutions and turning business needs into technology that works. What you’ll be doing

• Build & develop — Create and maintain complex server-side logic using Apex and modern, reactive user experiences with Lightning Web Components (LWC).
• Connect systems — Design and implement REST and SOAP APIs, integrating Salesforce with external platforms such as ERPs, marketing engines and data environments.
• Work with data — Develop high-performance SOQL/SOSL queries while working within Salesforce’s multi-tenant architecture and governor limits.
• Translate needs into solutions — Participate in grooming sessions and turn business requirements into clear, scalable technical designs.
• Champion quality — Write robust Apex unit tests, conduct peer code reviews and help maintain high standards of code quality, security and governance.
• Collaborate & improve — Work closely with business and technical stakeholders in an Agile environment to continuously improve our Salesforce landscape.

What you bring

• 3+ years of hands-on Salesforce Development experience and enjoy working on solutions where technology and business come together.

Technical Toolkit

• Languages: Apex (OOP), JavaScript (ES6+), HTML, CSS
• Frameworks: Lightning Web Components (LWC), Aura, Salesforce Flow
• Data: SOQL, SOSL, Data Loader, Workbench
• DevOps: Git/GitHub, VS Code, Salesforce CLI (SFDX), CI/CD pipelines
• API: REST, SOAP, Bulk API, Composite API

Additional skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• The ability to translate business requirements into practical technical solutions
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
• A detail-oriented mindset and strong awareness of compliance and governance
• Experience working in Agile methodologiesConfidence working with ADO

Nice to have

• Salesforce Platform Developer I (PDI) and/or JavaScript Developer I certification.
