Housekeeping Operations Manager (m/f/d) - New Opening Join us at Ruby, a fast‑growing hospitality group with existing hotels and workspaces in Europe’s most exciting locations. About the Role As Housekeeping Operations Manager, you will lead our housekeeping team, manage both internal staff and external cleaning companies, and maintain the highest standards of cleanliness across all guest rooms and public areas. Responsibilities Lead and coach the housekeeping team, ensuring compliance with Ruby’s quality standards. Inspect guest rooms and public areas daily to maintain cleanliness and quality. Manage procurement, orders and delivery of work and consumable materials within budget. Maintain regular communication with the hotel maintenance team regarding upkeep and repair tasks. Collaborate closely with the Rooms Division office at our corporate headquarters in Munich. Take care of plants, floral arrangements, and seasonal decorations. Process lost and found items and ensure proper return to guests. Qualifications Minimum 2 years’ experience in a similar position, ideally in a lifestyle hotel. Strong passion for cleanliness and order, with a keen eye for detail. Comfortable working with external companies and managing cost‑conscious operations. Strong communication skills, decisive, flexible, and able to handle stressful situations. Confident self‑presentation, positive workplace energy, and sense of humour. Experience working with international guests and ability to respond to diverse needs. Fluent in French and English.
