Responsibilities

  • Define technical specifications in accordance with the needs of the design engineering office
  • Qualify manufacturer-part combinations for aeronautical parts and associated surface treatments
  • Contribute to the development of qualification methods and processes
  • Oversee the technical progress of qualifications for various parts suppliers
  • Support our clients in developing their supply chain, particularly during the onboarding of new suppliers or the transfer of activities
  • Analyze material characterization results and have command of their forming and joining/assembly processes
  • Prepare technical documentation pre- and post-qualification
  • Organize and facilitate exchanges between the client’s materials teams, suppliers, and external laboratories

Requirements

  • University or engineering degree (Master’s to PhD level, Bac +5 to Bac +8) with a specialization in materials and processes
  • At least 6 months’ experience in a design office/engineering department within the aerospace or space sector
  • Autonomous, rigorous, with excellent analytical and synthesis skills
  • Strong written communication skills and a collaborative team player
  • Proficient in spoken and written English
  • Proficiency in basic materials characterization techniques
