Identity and Access Management (IAM) EngineerAbout the job Identity and Access Management (IAM) EngineerIdentity and Access Management (IAM) EngineerDesigning, implementing, and managing identity and access solutions to secure user identities and privileged accountsPosition OverviewWe are seeking a knowledgeable IAM Engineer with expertise in managing user identities, authentication mechanisms including Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) and passwordless solutions, and Privileged Access Management (PAM). The role focuses on enforcing secure access controls, enhancing authentication processes, and managing privileged accounts to reduce risk.You will collaborate closely with security, IT, and application teams to build scalable and secure IAM frameworks aligned with organizational policies and compliance requirements.Key ResponsibilitiesUser Identity & AuthenticationManage identity lifecycle for users across systems and applicationsImplement and maintain strong authentication methods such as MFA and passwordless authenticationIntegrate identity providers with authentication platforms to enforce secure accessPrivileged Access Management (PAM)Design, deploy, and manage PAM solutions to control and monitor privileged accountsEnforce least privilege principles and session management for administrative accessConduct privileged account audits and access reviewsAccess Governance & ComplianceDevelop IAM policies, standards, and procedures to meet regulatory and security requirementsPerform access certification, role-based access control (RBAC), and segregation of duties (SoD) reviewsMonitor IAM-related security events and respond to anomaliesWork with application teams to integrate IAM solutions with business applicationsProvide technical support for IAM tools and resolve access issuesDocument IAM architectures, configurations, and operational guidesRequired Qualifications6+ years of hands-on experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) technologiesExpertise in Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), passwordless authentication solutionsExperience implementing and managing Privileged Access Management (PAM) tools (e.g., CyberArk, BeyondTrust)Knowledge of identity federation protocols (SAML, OAuth2, OpenID Connect)Familiarity with IAM platforms like Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), Okta, Ping Identity, or similarPreferred QualificationsRelevant certifications such as CISSP , CISA , Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) , or vendor-specific certificationsExperience automating IAM workflows using scripting or orchestration toolsKnowledge of compliance standards (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, GDPR) impacting IAMBackground in Zero Trust security frameworks and implementationStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills #J-18808-Ljbffr
