Principal Product Application Engineer – Power Distribution Location: France, Aix En Provence Product Application Engineer with Automotive Power Distribution or EV Battery experience required for a global semiconductor manufacturer who have offices across the globe. Based from their office in Aix-en-Provence, you will support Go to Market activities to enable design in/wins, as well as providing technical support on products. In this role you will engage with Tier 1 Automotive customers and OEM's, providing technical product training and support the Product Management teams with engineering and technical knowledge. You will be involved with new product definition, requirements and the development of these products. Suitable candidates will be degree qualified within electrical, microelectronics or physics, and have experience within Application Engineering or Semiconductor Development. You will also be familiar with power distribution/power electronics such as MOSFETs, Gate Drivers, Power Switches, EV Battery, etc. This role will be based on-site and working closely with engineering teams, however hybrid working can be offered. You will also act as a mentor for junior members of the team. This position comes with a competitive salary, bonus and extensive benefits package. Requirements: Degree qualified within Physics/Electronics/Electrical Engineering Semiconductor experience is a must Experience within the automotive industry and familiar with ISO 26262 would be highly advantageous Excellent communications skills and ability to hold technical presentations internally and externally Fluent in English is a must.
