Operations Management Specialist – Alan Alan’s vision is to make prevention the new norm of care for all. Responsibilities Build Ops strategy and bring the operational perspective into company strategy. Develop a deep understanding of industry trends, define priority use‑cases and evaluate build/buy/partner options. Design, monitor and scale daily business operations, while supervising and growing a team of insurance operators or health professionals. Manage external partnerships (e.g., teleconsultations) and handle day‑to‑day operational issues. Own and implement strategic projects such as new insurance product launches, internalisation of processes and creation of new health services. Industrialise operations to achieve excellence, track efficiency, identify risks and implement improvement plans (automation, data‑driven decision making). Coach and mentor team members, provide continuous feedback and development opportunities. Own the way we work, ensuring the team continuously receives feedback and develops new skills. Qualifications At least 2 years of professional experience in operations management or entrepreneurship. Fluency in English and at least one of Spanish, French, or Dutch. Strong analytical skills, including proficiency in SQL for data analysis. Experience building automations (e.g., Zapier, n8n). Track record of launching and steering projects, setting high‑level vision and monitoring day‑to‑day progress. Expertise in process optimisation while maintaining members’ delight. Comfortable working in fast‑paced environments, handling uncertainty and prioritising efficiency. Strong collaborator across transverse teams, willing to be hands‑on and challenge decisions.
