Oscar Mobility is redefining car rental. With 600+ locations across Europe (Denmark, the Netherlands, Spain, Germany, Belgium) and the US, we're scaling fast on an asset-light, data-driven platform that turns idle vehicles at dealerships and workshops into profitable rental revenue.

We're hiring the first member of our French market-entry team: the execution engine and boots-on-the-ground backbone of Oscar France. Backed by our central growth machine, your mission is simple: hit the road, run our proven playbook, and close the deals that secure Oscar's entry into the market. This is a high-exposure seat with day-zero ownership of what's set to become one of our biggest markets. If you want your fingerprints on a country's growth story from the very start, this is your seat at the table.

Tasks

What you'll do

Execute the playbook and close deals

  • Drive the commercial entry into France by closing partnerships with repair shops, dealerships, mobility providers, and workshop networks to secure our initial footprint.
  • Turn warm leads into signed partners: hit the road, meet prospects directly, pitch the platform, and finalise agreements.
  • Run our proven sales and growth playbook, targeting ideal Oscar partners with a validated value proposition, while bringing your own local energy and hustle to the field.

Be our eyes and ears on the ground

  • Feed market intelligence back to HQ: local priorities, fresh opportunities, and what's actually working — to accelerate Oscar's success in France.
  • Work hand-in-hand with central Sales, Growth, Analytics, and Marketing. You're backed with real levers: support from top talent, data-driven models to extract and pre-qualify high-potential leads, plus targeted referral lists ready to activate.

Requirements

Who you are

  • Commercially driven and highly outgoing: you build trust fast, love being on the road, and are motivated by closing and securing commitments.
  • 4+ years in outside sales in the automotive ecosystem (dealerships, repair shops, garage networks, or mobility providers).
  • You speak "le langage des garagistes": you understand how local workshops and dealerships operate, read the room on a busy shop floor, and build peer-to-peer credibility with traditional operators.
  • A builder: you want to turn an untapped market into a success story, not join after it's done.
  • Independent and self-driven: you own your field pipeline and push hard toward your goals.
  • French at native-level fluency, plus professional English (internal collaboration is in English).
  • Ideally based in or around Lille (Hauts de France), but we're equally open to candidates in the eastern and north-eastern regions stretching toward the Belgian border. This is a mobile role: you'll travel between regions to visit potential partners, so a valid driver's licence and willingness to hit the road are required.

This role is probably NOT for you if:

  • You're a farmer, not a hunter: you'd rather manage cozy long-term accounts than prospect, chase, and close new business at pace.
  • You back down in tough negotiations: independent garage owners and dealer principals are demanding and traditional. Without the grit to handle pushback and stand your ground, you won't close them.
  • You need rigid corporate structure: you require
