Compared to other platforms, cat qubits can autonomously implement quantum error correction. With more than 100 people, including physicists, PhDs, engineers and business professionals, we are competing with tech giants like Google and IBM to bring this breakthrough to life. About The Role In the Quantum Error Correction (QEC) team you will continuously improve our fault‑tolerant architecture, reduce the need for, and cost of, fault tolerance, and help implement and deploy the best solutions. You will also participate in the research and development of Alice & Bob’s fault‑tolerant quantum computing architecture. Responsibilities Participate in research and development of Alice & Bob’s fault‑tolerant quantum computing architecture. Innovate resilient quantum protocols to bridge the gap between theoretical error correction and physical implementation. Partner cross‑functionally to integrate robust QEC protocols into the system architecture. Model and interpret experimental fault‑tolerant quantum protocols. Requirements 1+ years (post‑PhD) of research in the field or equivalent experience, with publication as a lead author and participation in top conferences in QEC, or broadly in quantum information theory or experiment. A PhD in Quantum Error Correction, or more generally in quantum information theory or experiment. Expertise in programming quantum simulations of qubit or bosonic systems. Professional‑level English proficiency, both written and spoken. We’re also looking for Expertise in bosonic codes. Solid expertise in tomography and benchmarking.
