Quantum Error Correction

As an intern in the Theory team, you will be involved in the development of new methods allowing to speed up the numerical estimation of logical error rate. This will allow to efficiently benchmark error correction schemes, logical gates, stabilizer extraction circuits and decoders.
**Responsibilities**:
- Designing new methods,
- Evaluating their theoretical performances,
- Providing an implementation.
**Requirements**:
- You are currently enrolled in a relevant degree at the Master’s level, and are looking for a 4 to 6-month internship,
- Have followed classes on quantum mechanics and quantum error correction and Monte-Carlo methods,
- You are a curious and pragmatic individual with a proactive approach and a willingness to take initiatives,
- You have experience coding in Python and/or a compiled language (C/C++, Rust ),
- You have excellent initiative, and feel comfortable navigating an open problem with many ramifications,
- You are motivated to be part of a fast-growing startup, in a cutting-edge environment.
