They design, recommend revisions and install quality control systems, develop and document analytical methods for establishing reliability of products and their components and conduct analysis on relative reliability with regards to cost, structure, weight, maintainability, facility of production, and availability of materials and equipment. Our teams develop, implement and monitor company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental, health and safety regulations and recommend corrective actions if necessary. They are responsible for policies and practices to comply with applicable government regulations and industry requirements related to product environmental compliance, the implementation and management of technical and testing standards and specifications, quality control and reliability programs governing materials, product and processes, resulting in the optimization of material and labor, as well as failure analysis, root cause, corrective action and customer communication.What your background should look like :The job objective is to ensure compliance with product quality specifications, customer requirements and process needs during the product and process design phase according to Lean Product Design until the formal product and process release is achieved.Missions :Collect, register, support and evaluate quality deviations during LEANPD projects until start of the PPAP processResponsible for APQP deliverables during the product and process design phaseSupport the FMEA meetings to achieve the quality standard, structure and contentCreate prototype and pre-launch control plans within the teamBeing the voice of the customer as well as the interface to other TE departmentsEvaluate with team members customer specifications regarding technical quality requirementsCheck the quality of the PPAP documentationSupporting the “lessons learned” projectManaging technical information ex, trainings, seminars, lectures, softwareProfile :Engineering degree with specialization in mechanical / electrical engineering or similar3 years of professional experience in quality ideally from the automotive industryExperience in the application of APIS-IQRM Pro and Q-StartCertification as process auditorIndependent and project-oriented mindsetTravel readiness within EMEAWHAT TE CONNECTIVITY OFFERS :We are pleased to offer you an exciting total package that can also be flexibly adapted to changing life situations - the well-being of our employees is our top priorityCompetitive Salary PackagePerformance-Based Bonus PlansHealth and Wellness IncentivesEmployee Stock Purchase ProgramCommunity Outreach Programs / Charity EventsEmployee Resource GroupAcross our global sites and business units, we put together packages of benefits that are either supported by TE itself or provided by external service providers.
