Junior PM and Growth Engineer

Our team is made up of behavioral scientists and growth product managers. We’re unique in the tech/health & wellness world, applying behavioral insights to help better our product, inform our experimentation, and optimize our growth work.We’re looking for someone who is highly analytical and creative to join our team.Key ResponsibilitiesExecution of Product Roadmap: Assist the CPO in implementing the product roadmap by coordinating with relevant departments, ensuring milestones are met on time.Cross-functional Collaboration: Serve as a liaison between the product, engineering, marketing, and customer support teams to ensure clear communication and alignment on product development and growth strategies.Market and User Research: Conduct market research to gather insights on industry trends, competitor strategies, and user feedback. Utilize this data to inform product development and growth opportunities.Feature Development and Optimization: Work closely with the engineering and design teams to define product requirements, oversee feature development, and ensure product quality. Continuously seek opportunities for product improvement and optimization.Performance Analysis: Monitor and analyze product performance metrics, providing regular reports to the CPO and relevant stakeholders. Use insights to inform future product and growth strategies.Stakeholder Communication: Effectively communicate progress, challenges, and achievements to stakeholders, including the CPO, other teams, and external partners as necessary.Support the entire experimentation processes of the Growth and Core Product team: Code, analyze and work in every facet of the Growth workstreams. Collaborate with the Core Product Development team, the Growth Team and the Data Science team. Learn and train in the skills of growth product management/product management. Peer-reviewing Growth code and assisting in code review for Growth experimentAssisting with experiment launches on Google FirebaseDebugging code and working closely with the product development teamAssist in QAing new features prior to releasesPeer-reviewing experiment analysisOwning the translations of winning experiments into other languages/across platforms, and owning this experimentation process from start to finish.QualificationsHas a background in software engineeringIs very confident in JSON & JAVA or Javascript (SQL is bonus)Is comfortable with statistical significance and common types of statistical biasUnderstands the basics of good experimental designIs passionate about growth, metrics, and providing an outstanding user experienceIs data-driven and analytical. Our team strives to find user patterns and leverage them to optimize key metrics and user experience.Passion for learning and an interest in behavioral science is a bonusWhat would be Fabulous:Ideally, has a bachelor’s degree in statistics, computer science, engineering, any technical major, or related work experience.Has designed and run AB/ RCT trials before.
