An Amazing Career Opportunity for a Systems QA Engineer Location: Cardiff, UK We are recruiting for a Systems QA Engineer to join our team here in Cardiff The candidate will support Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Area by validating the successful integration and performance of Physical Access Systems comprising of, but not limited to; Authentication Credentials and services (Physical and Mobile), Authentication Devices, Access Control Devices and Device/System Management. As our Systems QA Engineer, you’ll support HID’s success by: Conduct testing of physical access control products, address and resolve customer‑reported issues, report bugs, and create and execute test plans and test cases. Perform black box and automation testing. Set up and maintain the testing environment in the lab, including Windows, Android, and iOS platforms. Validate and troubleshoot issues, provide information to the development team, and assist in resolving them. Conduct regression testing before release. Communicate effectively regarding issues, objectives, initiatives, and processes to plan. Perform other duties as assigned. Possesses or working towards a degree or equivalent qualification or 1year related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc. Familiar with operating systems, such as Windows, Android, iOS.
