Position: Assistant Manager (at the rank of Executive Officer) (several posts) The University of Hong Kong Work type: Full-time Department: Li Ka Shing Faculty of Medicine (20000) Categories: Executive / Technical / Support Location: Hong Kong Key responsibilities Play a versatile frontline role in handling operations of a range of tasks, including management of undergraduate programmes, assessment, curriculum revisions, quality assurance and regulatory compliance. Provision of student‑centred services in teaching and learning. Candidate requirements Good university degree with at least 3 years’ work experience in the higher education sector or a related field. Competent communicator with strong sense of responsibility and ability to motivate team members to deliver quality work under tight deadlines. Excellent command of English and Chinese; high level of interpersonal, organisational, time‑management and problem‑solving skills; appropriate level of IT knowledge. Experience in undergraduate programme management is an advantage. Contract and compensation Two‑year fixed‑term basis with contract‑end gratuity and university contribution to a retirement benefits scheme (up to 10% of basic salary). Possible renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance. Highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience, plus annual leave and medical benefits.
